Gordon Green is the President of Green Team Makes Dreams Corporation (GTMD), with a mission to create positive changes in children and families in his community along with other surrounding cities and communities.

Gordon grew up in Los Angeles, California. His parents worked hard to put a roof over his head and raise him to be the best he could be. Unfortunately, at the young age of 6 years old, his parents split up. Needless to say, Gordon knows first-hand the devastation of being raised in a “broken home”. After Gordon’s parents divorced, Gordon lived with his mother majority of his life and at times, him and his mother would live at his grandmother’s house in Inglewood, California. Gordon’s father would pick him up on the weekends to spend time with him as much as he could. Like most working parents, we must work, so some weekends Gordon wouldn’t be able to see or spend time with his dad. Being a child, Gordon was upset, hurt, disappointed, and didn’t understand the “why” so many missed weekends. When Gordon was approximately 12 years old, he was able to go live with his dad in West Covina, California. Gordon would go on to finish his Elementary, Junior High, and High School, and some College years in the surrounding areas. Gordon went on to have 4 beautiful children and a family of his own. He is always expressing the joy of showing them and giving them any and everything he wasn’t able to experience as a child himself.

Gordon has always been a person to go and make things happen. He has held his Class A license for 25 plus years and finally decided “I’m going to work for myself”. Green Team Trucking, LLC was the start of Gordon’s entrepreneurship, which he runs with his wife, Amber Green. Not knowing when he started, that this company would blossom and turn out to be a successful and lucrative endeavor, Gordon is elated. Him and his family are able to enjoy the things that he was only able to dream of as a child. Gordon is now able to do something he has always wanted to, GIVE BACK to help others. Thus, creating Green Team Makes Dreams Corporation (GTMD).

GTMD is a vision Gordon has in being a lifeline to those less fortunate. Single parents, be it mother or father, might need a little help so our future kids can thrive. Children shouldn’t have to feel our hardships. GTMD is assisting with a wide variety of avenues to help children and families thrive and succeed. From food and clothing, backpacks and books, chrome books and technology skills, to registration and transportation for sports. Gordon and his wife will challenge themselves to be that difference in many lives.
